Theme: Region Languages
The theme for June is regional songs. Even though ICC 4th Friday Karaoke has never been any particular language specific, it's mostly been Bollywood music based.
There are many vibrant movie industries other than Bollywood in India. Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malyalam, Marathi, Gujrati, Punjabi, Bengali, Assamese come to mind immediately. And then there are various dialects of Hindi. In fact there are quite a few popular tunes in Bollywood that were originally composed for regional language songs.
Themes for our events are always recommended but never mandatory so if Hindi is the only language you can sing in you are absolutely welcome!
The ICC Karaoke Club meets once a month, usually on the 4th Friday. It is an Open Mic event and entry is free for ICC members and non-members. Singers who sign-up before 7:30pm can expect a spot in the Karaoke singers line-up.
