The Motto of Rotary: Service Above Self

With great pleasure we would like to introduce Rotary club of Milpitas at ICC.

The club members meet every other Wednesdays and brainstorm new ideas and projects for the benefit of community along with fellowship of community members.

Recently our club hosted an informative seminar on ‘Preventing Identity Theft’ presented by Financial Advisor- Rachna Bijlani. The presentation was focused towards helping us minimize the risk of becoming a victim of identity theft. The speaker highlighted all the issues surrounding identity theft including- defining identity theft, common ways in which identities are stolen, some basic precautions that we can take to prevent it and what to do if your identity is stolen.

Another project was during the national ‘Make a difference day’.The club members participated  by painting and cooking in Abode homeless shelter in Fremont. A few other projects are in works. We are looking for new ideas to serve our local and international community.

The club is actively looking to recruit many energetic and creative people who are willing to contribute a small share for benefit of society. This is purely joyous experience where people make new friends; work on new ideas, meet many influential people/leaders in the community.
