Imagining India

September 26 through November 8, 2015
in the Art Gallery at Children's Discovery Museum of San Jose

180 Woz Way, San Jose, CA

The works featured in Imagining India were created by 97 artists ages 4 to 12 with media of their choice at the India Community Center's Annual Children's Art Contest. Every March, children arrive at India Community Center (ICC) with only their art materials and imagination to spend the afternoon creating a work expressing their vision of India. The exploration of cultural icons, celebrations, animals, and architecture of India promotes greater understanding of the cultural heritage of the South Asian community amongst the young artists and their families.

Admission to the Exhibition included with regular admission to the museum.
