The works featured in Imagining India were created by 97 artists ages 4 to 12 with media of their choice at the India Community Center's Annual Children's Art Contest. Every March, children arrive at India Community Center (ICC) with only their art materials and imagination to spend the afternoon creating a work expressing their vision of India. The exploration of cultural icons, celebrations, animals, and architecture of India promotes greater understanding of the cultural heritage of the South Asian community amongst the young artists and their families.
Please join us for an artist reception for Imagining India, an art exhibit featuring your child’s artwork created at the India Community Center’s Annual Children’s Art Contest this past March!
Artist plus one adult chaperone are entitled to free admission to the Museum for the day reception or on another day if Artist is unable to attend the Reception. Artist and chaperone's must RSVP to Heidi Lubin before November 5th.
